What is Fultwood Outdoors Academy?

Fultwood Outdoors Academy is a hybrid homeschool program that blends academic instruction with hands-on learning and real-world electives. We serve students in grades 3–12 and focus on helping them discover their God-given purpose through personalized learning, sports, and life skills.


Where are you located?

We have two in-person locations:

  • Fort Meade, FL
  • Plant City, FL

Academic instruction is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at both locations. Electives take place on other days depending on the program selected.


Is this a private school?

Fultwood Outdoors Academy is a registered home education program and approved vendor through Step Up For Students. We are working toward private school accreditation for families needing additional support with transcripts and high school credits.


Do you offer programs for younger students?

Yes! We are launching a separate K–2 Unit in Fall 2025 to provide age-appropriate, play-based learning in a structured, nurturing environment. This program will have its own dedicated staff and curriculum designed to build a strong foundation in reading, math, and early life skills.


What does tuition cover?

Tuition is $750 per month and includes:

  • In-person academic instruction (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
  • Personalized learning support
  • Access to electives
  • Enrichment and hands-on learning experiences
  • School Choice Navigator services

Some electives may have additional fees depending on the activity.


What is the weekly schedule?

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: Core academic instruction (in person)
  • Monday, Wednesday, or Friday: Elective sessions (based on program)
  • Fridays: Optional field trips, hands-on projects, or virtual activities

Do students earn high school credit?

Yes! Our curriculum is aligned with Florida state standards, and high school students may earn credit toward graduation, including Career & Technical Education (CTE) credit in specialty areas.


Do you offer a virtual option?

Yes. Virtual academic options are available, and students can also add electives a la carte if they live outside our in-person locations.


Do you offer testing?

Yes, we offer End-of-Year (EOY) norm-referenced testing for grades K–12, which satisfies Step Up For Students PEP requirements and helps inform each child’s academic progress.
